This policy explains how data is processed by Git Blog and Redacto, both provided by Nimble Studio Ltd.

Data Processed

Git Blog

• GitHub Personal Access Token — stored in the device Keychain, used to authenticate with the GitHub API.
• Blog posts and photos — stored locally on your device. Sent to GitHub when you publish.
• App preferences — stored locally on your device.

Redacto

• Redacto gameplay progress and statistics — stored locally on your device so you can track completed puzzles and streaks.
• Redacto usage data — limited, pseudonymous usage data, such as completed-question events, guess counts, and daily-active usage, is sent to TelemetryDeck using a hashed installation identifier. Redacto does not collect your name or email address.

Recipients

Git Blog: When you publish, your content is sent to GitHub. In-app purchases are handled by Apple.

Redacto: The limited, pseudonymous usage data described above is sent to TelemetryDeck. No other data is shared with anyone else.

Retention

Git Blog: Data is stored on your device, and deleting the app removes it. Content published to GitHub remains in your repository.

Redacto: Gameplay progress and statistics are stored on your device, and deleting the app removes them. Usage data sent to TelemetryDeck is retained according to TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. You can delete locally stored data by deleting the app. For questions about usage data sent to TelemetryDeck, contact us using the details below. You can contact the ICO with concerns.
